QUETZAL MEZCAL

This project was to design the bottle for Quetzal. Quetzal is a high quality white mezcal. It is handcrafted and made traditionally by experts from Oaxaca, Mexico. Mezcal is one of the national liquors of Mexico and it is predominantly made in Oaxaca. The Mixtecs, who mainly reside in Oaxaca, are known for worshipping the deity Quetzalcoatl who is a feathered serpent. These elements were taken into consideration to create an illustration that would end up on the mezcal bottle.
